Yeah, they usually have holiday sales, so Black Friday is a good bet for a discount. If you don't need it urgently, might be worth waiting. The first order discount is usually 10-15% though, so sometimes it's close to what holiday sales offer anyway.

I think you can pick custom colors. I saw that option when I was looking at one for an anniversary gift. Not sure about totally new designs though.

They do custom names and colors for sure. Not like, a whole custom drawing, but you can definitely make it personal. I asked them about adding a small detail last year and they said they mostly stick to their existing designs with color/text changes.

It depends. Mine took maybe 8-10 days to get to California. They're handmade so probably takes a bit longer than Amazon stuff. You might want to ask them directly if you have a hard deadline.

From what I recall, it's solid wood. Feels pretty sturdy when you hold it. Way better than the flimsy stuff I've seen elsewhere.

They use solid wood. That's actually one of the things that makes them stand out from some of the cheaper options on Etsy that are often MDF. You can tell the quality difference when you get it.
